2010 TEEN VOLUNTEERS
Many teens were busy at the library this summer. Young adult volunteer opportunities include Summer Reading Program, book discussions, craft programs, gardening and movie nights. Teens are actively involved with an advisory committee which meets twice a month to schedule events and discuss current library issues, as well as give input into the selection of Young Adult materials.
New books added to the Young Adult section include The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer, Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta, A Conspiracy of Kings by Megan Whalen Turner and Hold Still by Nina LaCour.
